From Styled to Sold:
A One-Showing Success Story
When a home feels elevated, buyers move fast. This beautifully staged property received three offers on day one — a perfect example of what Pine & Prairie staging can do. Here are the rooms that sealed the deal.

SouthSide on Lamar
This collection features a series of personal and client spaces—each reflecting creative problem-solving, bold design choices, and an intentional approach to color and flow. While some photos capture works in progress or lived-in spaces, they showcase the essence of my process: using design to elevate the everyday.
From metallic silver walls that add drama and light, to hand-painted stripes that bring structure and movement to small rooms, to angled walls that challenged layout and lighting—but became a highlight with the right styling—each space represents my belief that beautiful design doesn’t require perfection, just vision.
Discover the Charm of
220 4th St NW, Orange City
Stepping into this house feels like walking into a slice of mid-century craftsmanship, where the details matter. From the moment you enter, you’re greeted by warm hardwood floors and beautifully preserved finish work that echoes the home’s original character.
-
Authentic Era Details: The original Craftsman-style doors with glass knobs still grace the interior, lending a touch of elegant nostalgia.
-
Built-ins & Architectural Flourishes: Built-in china cupboards in the dining area, and a charming pass-through buffet from the kitchen to the dining area add functionality and vintage appeal.
-
A Touch of Mystery: In the living areas, there’s a built-in bell (or chime) feature—an intriguing relic that hints at the home’s storied past.
-
Natural Beauty & Surroundings: Mature trees frame the lot, offering shade, privacy, and a grounded sense of place. The separate two-car garage is a bonus for both convenience and value.
-
Room to Refresh, Room to Grow: The upstairs awaits your creative touch—new flooring and paint would transform the space, while the solid bones of the home will support your vision.
The Potential Is Real - Though the upstairs needs updating, that blank slate is exactly what a buyer with vision will love. The charm and character of the original woodwork—the trim, moldings, and built-ins—are irreplaceable touches that new construction rarely captures.
With careful updates, this home has the potential to shine as a showpiece that bridges vintage allure and modern comfort.

Modern Farmhouse – Excelsior
This modern farmhouse was decorated to feel inviting, balanced, and effortlessly livable. The goal was to highlight the home’s architectural warmth — from the brick fireplace and shiplap feature wall to the wide farmhouse windows that flood the room with light.
I used a soft, neutral palette layered with texture to create visual interest and comfort. Bouclé chairs add cozy contrast to the clean lines, while natural wood tones and greenery introduce organic warmth. Each piece — from the round coffee table to the simple built-ins — was chosen to help buyers imagine themselves relaxing, gathering, and calling this space home.
The finished result feels timeless yet current: a refined, approachable farmhouse that blends modern simplicity with everyday charm.
Midcentury Modern Appeal
A midcentury home with a fresh perspective — this space blends classic structure with playful individuality. Key pieces like the sculptural table from Our Haus Design and a statement Pottery Barn cabinet set the tone for refined simplicity. To introduce contrast and visual rhythm, the center island was repainted to break up the continuous wood tones, while interior doors went bold in black with charming white knobs.
Sage green walls in the living room add serenity, echoed by a thoughtfully curated collection of textured furnishings — including the irresistibly tactile, boucle chairs that invite touch and conversation. The result is a home that feels curated yet lived-in, elegant yet approachable — a true reflection of joyful design.
